Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Developing and automating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
- Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Ensuring compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in DevOps practices
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in:
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Scripting languages (Bash, Python)
Agile development methodologies
Experience with:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Security best practices and compliance
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Additional Requirements (Senior Role):
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security compliance
- Certification in DevOps-related technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus
- Participation in open-source projects or contributions to the DevOps community (desired)
